  Abstract

​

          From Our Everlasting Beliefs to Our Nowadays Architecture, buildings today seem to be orphans, unable to reflect the natural Reproduction and Succession of human collective and cognitive intellect. Every building as a single has become a cosmological event; a mirror to its architect singular ideology. Pragmatically, it is easier in this age to juxtaposition buildings by their architects rather than their architectures. In fact, Buildings of our age are losing their natural analogies they were created for and within.

 

          We inhabit neither a static universe nor a mechanism, but rather a cosmogenesis that continually evolves in phase changes-sudden jumps in organization ( what it is called emergences ).

The paradox of architecture is informed by the concept of “Emergence”, the extraordinary quality of self-organizing system in the era of e-revolution, with its complex systems.

“Complexity” is the theory of how an “emergent” organization may be achieved by interacting  components pushed far from equilibrium by an increase in energy, matter or information until it reaches a critical threshold between order and chaos.

It is time to counter suggest the effects of digital media, the de-formation, de-construct, wrap and folding on today’s architecture, by the magic of Natural orders.

 

          This study will put “The Architecture of Emergence and Complexity” in certain proximity to its holistic nature, Putting it very broadly, deform and inform through computer aided designs and computer simulation of evolution processes are in  the very heart of complexity architecture; My argument is that although it is true increasing information increases complexity, but this is only up to a certain point, after which the system actually becomes simpler. This hypothesis suggests an answer to the questions “where do ‘wholes’ or ‘systems’ in architecture emerge from?”, would it be possible to create "organized whole" out of a "disordered" collection of interacting parts, as witnessed in self-organizing systems in physics, chemistry, biology, sociology?, will global properties defining higher order systems or "wholes" be reduced to the properties of the lower order subsystems or "parts”, so that irreducible architectural emergents could be then sequenced and generetionalized ?

 

          This may still fall short of what a Genesis theory extrudes for architecture. However; the emergence of DNA conception in architecture is attached with the need for sophisticated informatic storage system that could act timeless in its relation to the human contexts.............

The DNA concept theory suggests the composition of identified cultural codes used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and peculiarities of the attached context. The main role of the architectural DNA is the long-term storage of certain patterns of use, dogmatic beliefs and shared rules of specific living setting. . As in the DNA segments that carry the genetic information are called genes, there could be also a cultural segments that Dawkins suggests to be the Memes.

          Nature is the unfolding of the wholeness, and we bear witness to this when we architects build a world in the essence of our beliefs and submission to god.
